During the visit, the district heating infrastructure was presented and discussed Fig.1. These were selected for analysis and discussion in order to ascertain the practical aspects of system operation and to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges associated with its management and control. Special attention was paid to heat storage and its operation using digital control system.
The MPEC team (Fig.2-4) is to be commended for their transparency, erudition, and for the invaluable opportunity to gain direct insight into the installations under scrutiny. The meeting concluded with a joint summary and the identification of further areas for cooperation, which will be developed in the subsequent stages.
