Kick-off meeting of Interreg SBP “Baltic EnerShift” project took place on 7th November in premises of Project Leader IMP PAN in Gdańsk. 20 participants from BES Project consortium (IMP PAN, SweHeat, GUT, IWEN, NODA, BEOF) were present personally, two other partners (Öresundskraft and LTDH) joined us online. The main issues tackled by the project are related to digitalisation of district heating and advantages, which customers and heat providing industry can expect from “twin transition”. Project Partners discussed their planned activities. The JS representative Kyriakos Kourtidis presented program rules and encourage Partners to good collaboration. IMP PAN – Project Leader focussed on management, financing, reporting and communication issues.
The kick-off meeting was preceded by very well attended Baltic District Heating Innovation Forum 2025. More than 70 participant (representing mainly heat distributions companies, related industrial and research entities) were present in IMP PAN personally and more than 40 joined the meeting online. The Forum focussed on digitalisation of district heating, including diagnostics and monitoring of DH grid.
